SensGate is the hub in the SENS solution, which is the product that gathers all data and sends it to Sensation. SensGate is built on a powerful quad-core processor, which makes SensGate a future-proof solution. Not only does SensGate come with a powerful processor, but it is also built on Android, which is an open platform with many developers.
By supporting Android, it is possible for SENS and SensGate to offer new applications from different vendors and companies. It also opens up the possibility to run applications locally.
By being able to run SensGate locally, Sigma ensures added security and runtime, for those who want to keep their data off the cloud and have it locally. The current SensGate support Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi.
SensGate is powered by a 1.2 Ghz quad-core Coretx A7 CPU, 4 GB of memory and 1 GB of RAM. It also features an 800 mAh that can run for approximately 6 hours if the power shuts down. It runs on Anroid Kitkat 4.4.2 and supports Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz IEEE 802.11b/g/n.
SensGate receives its power from a 3 m long micro USB cable that is connected to a wall-charging unit. The wall-charging unit is a 5 V 1 A charger, which is common for phone chargers. Both the cable and wall-charging unit are supplied with SensGate.
